Week 7

Another changeable week with rain, sleet, snow, and low temperatures which again left the birdlife nice and quiet, paths were wet and muddy and the brook was still high.

Birds about this week were the usual Magpie, Jackdaw and Crows along with Song Thrush and, Robins singing in the car parks early morning. Monday saw Black-headed Gulls flying over, a Sparrowhawk decided to terrorise the Blue and Great Tits in the front car park in the early part of the week, and the week ended with a Grey Heron in the wood, well it was in the wood till I came along then it was soon in the field
