Week 10

The high pressure remained until the middle of the week when south-westerly winds moved in bringing in an Atlantic low which in turn brought rain and better temperatures from Wednesday onwards.

Birds about this week were the usual Magpie, Jackdaw and Crows along with Song Thrush and, Robins singing in the car parks early morning. Nuthatch was making himself known with loud calling all week, a pair of Mallards on the lower pond/overflow area, Blue Tits, Long-tailed Tits, Great Tits and Wren in the woods.
