Week 50

Very much the same as last week with temperatures remaining around the 10° mark with the week ending on a low with sprinkles of rain moving in and winds again..at least it’s not snowing 🙂

The bird highlights this week still involved large flocks of winter Thrush mainly Redwings with the odd Fieldfare and Blackbird thrown in.

In the wooded areas this week we could see Long tailed Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Goldfinch and a small flock of Siskin

Of course the usual troop were about Magpie, Jackdaw, Crow, Woodpigeon and fly over Black-headed Gull.

A new find this week was a clump of Turkey Tail Fungi…a nice ending to the week on a festive theme 🙂
