Week 51

The weather this week remains wet and windy at times with the odd days of calmer sunner days (Monday/Tuesday), the temps remain about average, with the winds from the Southerly direction.

The highlights this week have once again been the flock of Redwing, Fieldfares and Blackbird in the nearby berry bushes, the Trushes on one day got the attention of the local male Sparrowhawk which narrowly went thru missing out on a meal.

Other highlights this week included  Jay, Long tailed Tit, Blue Tit, and Goldfinch, Siskin in a mixed flock on the catkins and alder trees.

An extra fungi was found this week this one being the Oyster Mushroom.

To all my readers I wish you all a merry Christmas and a Happy New Year…thanks for reading
