Week 45

This week started off with the mild weather continuing until about mid-week when we eventually had the return of winter temperatures especially overnight

The birds this week have been more in evidence especially around the feeder with Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, and Nuthatch (2) visiting the table with Crow, Pheasant, Robin and Dunnock  seen picking up from the fallen seeds, a Bullfinch has been heard this week but again not seen, we also saw the return of winter thrush this week with Redwing settling in a nearby tree before moving on

Insects are now hard to find with a few Harlequin Ladybirds still with us and still plenty of flies inc. Noon Flies
