Week 11

Well the week started off with a promise of warmer weather and spring,  we even saw flowers blooming this week and even a couple of bumblebees were seen, in one of the early spots, but how wrong it was winter returned with temperatures falling 10 degree which resulted in the brave disappearing again.

Birds seen this week, on the one warm day we did have,  a beautiful Common Buzzard soared high on thermals slowly drifting over the fields, beauty to watch. Blue Tit, Great Tit, Robin, Blackbird were still around the bird table, the Nuthatch was seen regular around the nest site, and a Great Spotted Woodpecker over, a Grey Heron was scared up from the small pond and two Bumblebees were seen at the start of the week  but alas no other insects as yet

On holiday next week so hoping for a few surprises on my return
