Week 18

A mixed bag of a week on the weather side with sunshine and showers all week hence only having two dinner breaks out. Monday was good with plenty of sunshine and a few Butterflies managed to get out, once seen were a few Orange-tip and Small Tortoiseshells.

Birds around the table were Robin, Dunnock, Great Tit, Blue Tit, and Nuthatch, out and about on site were Blackcap, Song Thrush, Woodpigeon and Chiffchaff.

Thursday finally saw the return of the Swallow and whilst watching this a few House Martins went thru

A Hawthorn Shield Bug was found this week but unfortunately was deceased and a mink was reported seen on the Brook and chasing Rabbits
