Sorry about week 38, family emergency, anyway back to it, it been active around the bird table this week highlights being a female Great spotted Woodpecker eventually coming in to the fatballs a fantastic privilege to see it so close. Other birds here this week include Long tailed Tit, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Coal Tit, Robin, Blackbird, Chaffinch, Dunnock and Nuthatch. A pair of Pied Wagtails were seen on the office roof (Female and Juvenile birds) Common Buzzard over the factory, Swallows have now left us for the winter and are heading towards South Africa for the winter months.

The only butterfly that could be seen this week in fairly good numbers were Speckled Woods, these are usually the last ones to say goodbye for the year  seen into early October then we look forward until March/April again.
