Week 40

A rather quiet week now that the summer visitors have left and we now wait for the winter visitors to arrive but we live in hope that we may get a stray migrant blown of course as it makes its way south, anyway back to what was on site this week.

Still the only butterfly that remains is the Speckled Wood that could be seen all week in various places still in good numbers

Only other business were the birds, plenty of Jays were about this week the only other action that could be found was around the bird table , Robins, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit, Dunnock and Nuthatch good be seen all week
