Week 42

Very little to report now as winter comes our way a few Speckled Wood Butterflies were seen at the beginning of the week laying up in the blackberry brambles and proving difficult to find now. So the attention was mostly birds and of course the activity was mainly around the bird table were we could find the usual species of Robins, Dunnock, Coal Tit, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Nuthatch and Chaffinch.

Out in the woods Blackbirds could be seen and heard, still plenty of Jays about, and a Great Spotted Woodpecker, Grey and Pied Wagtail could be seen on the office roof and in the Car Park on occasions and a flock of Redwing (22) flew over the factory on Thursday proving that Autumn now moves into Winter.
