Week 3

Well felt more like January this week with the temps heading down towards the zero mark and a cold Northerly wind to boot, but the birds were good this week quality rather than quantity with a Common Buzzard present along with a small flock of Siskin and a pair of Nuthatch frequenting the bird table.

Along with these could be seen Robin, Dunnock, Blue Tit, Great Tit and Chaffinch and a Grey Heron flew thru early one morning.

On a different note a nice find this week was a fresh bunch of Jelly Ear fungi
