Week 11

A better week this week with birds now returning to breeding sites but no sign of summer migrants as yet

The week must go to the reported Dipper on the nearby brook lets hope it returns to the old breeding site. Nuthatch have been very vocal and are busy going in and out of the breeding hole. Buzzards have been more active this week especially on the warmer days we’ve had this week, Grey Wagtails have been seen also on the nearby brook, with Great Spotted Woodpeckers seen most days and of course we have had the usual crew around also but they have also been more vocal this week…Robin, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long tailed Tit, Blackbird, Song Thrush, Jay, Goldfinch

Away from the birds a Red Fox was seen crossing the nearby fields
