A better week with two warm days showing a kick-start to insect life, lets hope it continues
Nothing new from the bird species this week but the Swallows. Blackcap and Chiffchaff have settled in nicely, Common Buzzard once again seen on occasion and Great Spotted Woodpeckers and Nuthatch seen all week
Seen around the bird feeder Jay, Woodpigeon, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Long tailed Tit, Dunnock, and a Stock Dove, Chaffinch have been in good song along with Mistle and Song Thrush
Butterflies this week included Orange tip, Peacock, Comma and Small Tortoiseshell.
