Week 36

A nice warm week again which turned up a new moth for the site this being a Centre-barred Sallow again found on the “moth wall” and remained for two days ,a great find.

Migrant birds have now left site and we wait again for March/April when they return, meanwhile bird table has been busy this week mainly with Great Tit but we have also seen Nuthatch, Great spotted Woodpecker, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Robin and Dunnock

Butterflies seen on site this week have been plenty of Speckled Woods in good numbers and a few “Whites” flying thru

Other Highlights this week have included a few Green Sheildbugs along the Hedgerows and of course Spiders can be found vertually everywhere as we now move into Autumn and Spider season
