Week 43

Most of the activity this week was around the bird table with appearances from the Nuthatch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Robins, Dunnocks and a single Coal Tit. Out in the fields a Bulfinch was seen along with a flock of Long tailed Tit

The excitement this week went down to a Caddisfly found on the Moth wall, but the star attraction this week was down to a new moth species found in the gents toilet and this was a Feathered Thorn Moth (A rich reddish-brown moth, only the males have the feathery antennae which give rise to its English name, flying during the months of September, October and November)
