A Sparrowhawk was one of the highlights this week being harassed by a brave Crow as it flew near the wood and successfully seen off. A Treecreeper was a nice find and also gave good close views, the other highlight was a pair of Chaffinch in the Hawthorn bushes.
Around the birdtables this week were Robins, Long tailed Tit, Blue Tit, and Great Tit no sign of the Nuthatch or Great Spotted Woodpecker this week
Other birds around were plenty of Blackbirds still, Black headed Gulls, numerous Common Gulls, and Woodpigeons
