Week 8

A wet and windy week to say the least the brook once again in full flow, still a quiet week but things seem to be having a feeling of spring in the air.

Bird highlights this week have been a Great Spotted Woodpecker , heard calling not drumming, Nuthatch seen around the usual nest site, and a Dunnock was heard a first for the year

The birds around the table this week have been Great Tit, Blue Tit, Long tailed Tit, Robin, and Chaffinch

Out in the fields this week Bullfinch, Jay and Song Thrush were seen along with the more common species

Bird List ; Blackbird, Blue Tit, Bullfinch, Carrion Crow, Chaffinch, Dunnock, Great Tit, Jackdaw, Jay, Long tailed Tit, Magpie, Nuthatch, Pheasant, Robin, Song Thrush and woodpigeon
