Its been a good week this week rolling into work to the sound of bird song first thing, sitting in the car park listening to Blackbirds, Song Thrush, Robins and the newly arrived Chiffchaff spurs me up ready for the days work ahead.
The sun has shone and insects have been about with Comma, Small tortoiseshell and new for the year Peacock Butterflies have all been on the wing this week. Hoverflies have put in an appearance also, but yet not ID.
Other birds about this week Long tailed, Blue and Great Tit, Jay, Wren Buzzard (over) . Thats it for this week weather forecast looks good for next week so hoping for the first Orange tip Butterflies, Blackcap warbler may arrive along with Swallows
